We provide you all needed best practices like freezing the mint, revoking the authority and more for free.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to create a Solana token?+
coinsmith charges a flat fee of 0.15 SOL per token. On top of that, the Solana network itself takes a small amount (typically around 0.01 SOL) for account rent and transaction fees. Revoking mint and freeze authorities and adding custom metadata are included at no extra cost.
Do I need to know how to code?+
No. You fill out a form, upload your logo, and approve one transaction in your wallet. coinsmith builds the transaction for you — no smart contract programming, no command line, no developer required.
How long does it take to create a token?+
About a minute. Once you approve the transaction in your wallet, your token is live on Solana mainnet within seconds and visible on block explorers like Solscan.
Which token standard does coinsmith use?+
coinsmith creates tokens using Token-2022 (Token Extensions), Solana's current token standard, with the metadata extension so your token's name, symbol and logo live directly on-chain.
Can I revoke the mint and freeze authorities?+
Yes, and we recommend it — both options are enabled by default and included in the flat fee. Revoking the mint authority fixes your supply forever, and revoking the freeze authority means nobody can freeze holders' tokens. Both are strong trust signals for your buyers.
Does coinsmith ever have access to my funds or private keys?+
No. coinsmith is non-custodial. Every transaction is built in your browser and signed by your own wallet. We never see your private keys and can never move your funds.
How do I make my token tradable?+
Create a liquidity pool. After your token is minted, our wizard can create a Raydium CPMM pool pairing your token with SOL — that's what lets anyone buy or sell it on a DEX. Our pool wizard is a free service; Raydium charges its own 0.2 SOL protocol fee.
Which wallets are supported?+
Any Solana wallet that follows the Wallet Standard, including Phantom and Solflare, plus Ledger hardware wallets and Torus.
